PROFILE:
One thing that soon became clear to Brett after leaving university was that he working for large companies didn’t suit him. It then slowly dawned on him that working for anyone else wasn’t really what he wanted to do either. So, after a long stint travelling and working in South America with plenty of ‘hammock’ time to ponder what his career would be, he returned to Australia, studied tour guiding, got all the necessary licences and in 1998 started taking young travellers away on day and overnight trips.
Literally the last thing Brett expected was to still be in the same business 20 years later, which goes to show he’s found his true calling.
