We show you the sights most travellers miss out on! Well take in stunning mountain scenery, explore historic villages, and take you on a trip around Canberra, plus we spend the night on a working farm in the remote Wagga Wagga area! Now not many people will be able to say they’ve stayed on a true blue Aussie farm!
After our meet and greet, we ascend into the Victorian Alps where we have a few stops along the way to take in the breathtaking scenery! We get up-close and personal with nature on our walk in Australia’s high country before we stop at the beautiful historic town of Beechworth. We spend some free time here and enjoy a free tasting of local delights. Check out the famous bakery, lolly shop, cordial factory, honey shop, and beer brewery! Learn the stories of Australias gold rush days and Ned Kelly, Australias most famous outlaw.
We then cross the Murray River and onto Wagga Wagga for our overnight farm stay. The farm where you sleep tonight is an actual working farm, so you get a good idea of what it’s truly like to be a farmer! You can take a tractor tour around the property, try horse riding (both own expense), or just roam around and interact with the animals. Whatever you decide to do, you will enjoy the genuine Australian country hospitality!
In the evening, we have a farm dinner together, unwind, and gaze at the stars!
After a farm breakfast, we leave Wagga Wagga and cruise toward Canberra, Australia’s bush capital. To give you a great taste of our nations Capital, we take you on a private tour of the Parliament House, visit the War Memorial have a look at the impressive Embassy District! World-class attractions, amazing architecture, and futuristic planning all play their part in making Canberra one of the world’s most modern and progressive cities.
After a fun afternoon taking in the sights and learning about Canberra’s interesting history, we continue north and arrive at beautiful Sydney in the evening!
