Melbourne Great Ocean Road Tour Summary
Join our one-day Great Ocean Road tour and you’re treated to the most spectacular coastal views you’ve ever seen! Driving this stunning Australian National Heritage listed road is a bucket list must-do when you’re travelling Australia. Exploring this area is a day to remember so make sure to bring your camera as you’ll be taking pics all day long!
First, we visit Cape Otway Lighthouse, the oldest lighthouse on mainland Australia. Climb to the top and look south over the Great Southern Ocean. We tell you about the ancient history of the Aboriginal owners, the Gadubanud people. Driving along, we see some of Australia’s tallest eucalyptus (gum) trees.
Time to head to the Twelve Apostles! Take a walk down Gibson’s Steps to the beach, where you have magnificent views of the Apostles! Then, we check out Lord Ard Gorge at the Shipwreck Coast. Many ships and sailors have met their doom all along these storm lashed shores. At the Twelve Apostles lookout, you’ll understand why this is such a popular spot! Soaring cliffs and mysterious lime stone stacks all around!
If you would like to explore the stunning Great Ocean Road with a group of fun, like-minded people, book your tour with us today! We go out seven days per week, 52 weeks per year!
