General Tour Information

  • Chevron down Where do I get picked up from?
  • We have several pick-up points in Sydney and Melbourne. Please follow this link to find the best one for your trip. These are also shown at the time of booking online.

  • Chevron down What if I am running late on the day of my tour?
  • Please call us to let us know and we will do our best to make sure you don’t miss the bus. However, like a train or plane, we do have a timetable and other passengers to consider. Refunds will not be given if you miss the bus.

  • Chevron down If it is raining, does the tour still operate?
  • Our tours operate in all kinds of weather – rain, hail, or shine! We may slightly adjust the itinerary if necessary to keep you dry or warm but you won’t miss out on anything.

  • Chevron down What if I change my mind and want to travel another date or cancel my booking?
  • Changes to your booking, including change of date can be made up to one week before departure free of charge. Changes to your booking within one week of departure will incur a $25 amendment fee, payable by credit card at the time of request. No changes can be made within 48 hours of departure however you can transfer your booking to another person and we must be advised of the name change.

    Cancellations made up to 48 hours before departure incur a 20% administration fee so 80% will be refunded. Cancellations made within 48 hours before departure incur a 100% cancellation fee.

  • Chevron down What do I need to bring on my tour?
  • We recommend you bring a bottle of water, camera, hat, sunscreen, a jacket in cooler months, and money to buy any extras such as souvenirs and snacks.

  • Chevron down What should I wear?
  • Dress comfortably for the season you are visiting. We always recommend a jacket for the Blue Mountains as it can be cooler, even in the warmer months. We also recommend wearing enclosed walking shoes as there is some walking involved on most of our tours.

Transport Information

  • Chevron down How many people will be on the bus?
  • We only operate our tours on mini buses with a maximum capacity of 28 passengers.

  • Chevron down Is there a toilet on the bus?
  • We don’t have toilets on the bus, but don’t worry we make plenty of comfort stops during the day.

  • Chevron down Can I charge my phone on the bus?
  • We don’t have USB ports on the bus so we suggest you charge you phone before coming on tour.

Included Meals

  • Chevron down I have allergies/dietary requirements. Will this be catered for?
  • Most dietary requirements such as lactose intolerant, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, allergic to nuts or shellfish, we can cater for by advising the café/restaurant and they will create a meal that is suitable. Please be sure to advise us at the time of booking so you can be looked after.

Specific Tour Information

Blue Mountains

  • Chevron down Do I need to wear special shoes for the bushwalks?
  • We recommend you wear enclosed suitable walking shoes. Thongs, sandals, high heels, or clogs are not suitable.

  • Chevron down What is included in the picnic lunch?
  • A bread roll with your choice of filling (beef, chicken, ham, or vegetarian) and a sweet bakery treat.

Hunter Valley

  • Chevron down What wineries will we visit?
  • The tour itinerary includes a visit to three wineries – McGuigans Wines, Wynwood Estate, and Iron Gate wines. There may be times where we need to change the wineries visited due to operational reasons, but you will be guaranteed to visit three wineries on the tour.

  • Chevron down Can I buy wine on the day?
  • Yes, you can purchase wine from the wineries we visit.

  • Chevron down Is there room on the bus to store any wine I buy?
  • Yes, there is some space on the bus to store any wine you purchase.

Port Stephens

  • Chevron down If I don’t see dolphins on the cruise, can I get refund?
  • Our cruise operator has a 99% success rate of dolphin sightings, however as dolphins are wild animals we cannot guarantee you will see them on the cruise. Should you not see any dolphins, we will allow you to come back again on our Port Stephens tour free of charge so you can hopefully see them next time!

  • Chevron down Can I go swimming?
  • If you choose not to purchase the sand boarding option on the tour, there is some free time in the afternoon at the beach where you can go swimming (weather permitting). You will need to bring your towel.

  • Chevron down Where can I buy lunch from on the day?
  • We have a great meal offer with for only $10. Alternatively, you can purchase your own lunch from one of the many cafes/food outlets in Nelson Bay.

Jervis Bay

  • Chevron down If I don’t see dolphins on the cruise, can I get refund?
  • Our cruise operator has a 99% success rate of dolphin sightings, however as dolphins are wild animals we cannot guarantee you will see them on the cruise. Should you not see any dolphins, we will allow you to come back again on our Jervis Bay tour free of charge so you can hopefully see them next time!

  • Chevron down Can I go swimming?
  • There is a short amount of time before lunch where you can swim at the beach. There is more time after lunch, if you choose not to purchase the dolphin cruise option, as you will spend that time at the beach. You will need to bring your own towel.

Jenolan Caves

  • Chevron down Where can I buy lunch from on the day?
  • There is free time at Jenolan Caves before the guided tour commences and there is a cafeteria where you can purchase food and drinks. Alternatively, we make a stop in the morning at Echo Point and there is a café there where you can purchase something.

Canberra

  • Chevron down Where can I buy lunch from on the day?
  • A comfort stop is made in the morning at a roadhouse where you can purchase food and drinks. Alternatively, there is a café at both the National Gallery of Australia and the National Museum of Australia where you can purchase lunch.

  • Chevron down How much time will I have to explore the National Museum of Australia?
  • You will have approximately an hour and a half.

  • Chevron down How much time will I spend at the Australian War Memorial?
  • You will have approximately one hour.
